Our Story

A decade of systems that matter

For over a decade, GEM Information Systems has partnered with businesses, NGOs and enterprise organisations to design, build and support software that solves complex operational challenges. We don't simply develop applications — we engineer secure, scalable digital ecosystems built on Microsoft Cloud.

  1. Founded in Cape Town

GEM Information Systems opens its doors in 2014, building affordable tools for SMEs and non-profits.

  2. Into the Microsoft Cloud

Azure, Azure SQL and C# become the backbone — enterprise infrastructure for mission-critical work.

  3. Platforms at national scale

ERP, learning, waste, property and community systems serving organisations nationally and abroad.

  4. A long-term partner

Discovery through continuous improvement — we stay with the systems we ship.
